What should I do to avoid falling out of status in the future?
A: To maintain your F-1 status:
Enroll full-time each semester (unless authorized for reduced course load).
Refrain from unauthorized employment.
Keep your information in SEVIS up to date, including your current address.
Communicate with your DSO if you encounter any issues that may affect your status.
