Experience

- visa/immigration paralegal: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings
- Prepare and process a variety of legal documents; researching, evaluating, and coordinating information to identify the facts of issues of litigation cases
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with the client
- Gather and maintain confidential client contact information in our proprietary case management system
- Record and store client information in an electronic filing system
- Learn and gain competence about the various types of immigration matters
- Prepare Legal Forms and applications in forms sections below
- Be able to manage client expectations and make them feel welcome and at home.
- Be neat, extremely organized, competent, efficient, and self-motivated.
- Have an eye for details.
- Be able to document the details of any conversation or activity with clarity- MUST BE A READER AND LOVE PAPERWORK!
