Is a CRBA the only way to prove my child’s U.S. citizenship if they were born abroad?

A: No, a CRBA is not the only way to prove your child’s U.S. citizenship. If your child was born abroad and didn’t get a CRBA, they can still apply for a U.S. passport. They may also apply for a Certificate of Citizenship to prove their U.S. citizenship status.
