Does USCIS still require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for adjustment of status?

A: No, USCIS no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination for adjustment of status applicants. Effective January 22, 2025, applicants filing Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, do not need to include documentation of COVID-19 vaccination. This change applies to green card applications processed within the United States and simplifies the adjustment of status process. However, all other vaccination and medical requirements remain mandatory.
