A: You may be eligible for reinstatement if you meet the following conditions:
1. You have been out of status for at most five months.
2. The violation was due to circumstances beyond your control or occurred because of a mistake.
3. You are currently enrolled or intend to enroll as a full-time student.
4. You have not engaged in unauthorized employment.
5. You are not in deportation or removal proceedings.
6. You can demonstrate that you are not at fault for the violation or that your failure to maintain status was due to exceptional circumstances.
